Annual Report and Year-End Financials

October 1, 2016 - September 30, 2017

General OverviewWe had a very successful lake season last year with excellent attendance figures and great activities for our members. Your Board of Directors and our staff headed by Lauren Gerber, our Lake Director, have been working diligently to continue to enhance our facility and infrastructure so as to improve the quality of your time at the Lake.

Due to a substantial number of home sales and membership transfers we have finished our fiscal year ending Sept 30, 2017 with a surplus allowing us to make a contribution to our reserves fund.

Going Forward the Board is continuing to gather information and meet with specialists and vendors in order to develop an appropriate program to remove excess sediment accumulated in the Lake over the last 90 years with the objective of improving water quality, your swimming experience, and the long term health of the lake. We will have a specific report on this matter later in the year. At this point it appears that we will be able to present a long term annual remediation plan to improve the health of the lake and enhance the quality of our lake water.
